DeWitt Collins, graduate of Marlin High, 1914, was married Wednesday evening to Miss Bessie Kennedy at the of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John M. Kennedy, near Mexia. Classmates and schoolmates of DeWitt were not prepared for the announcement of his entry into matrimony, but nevertheless join in extending felicitations.

Young Collins was a member of the Marlin Athletic team that won the relay race at Austin and brought back the cup. One of his teammates says that this lastest stunt of his is putting one over them in fast style.
